Hello there! Dr Kelly here. Where to start in the vitamin world?
Vitamins are there to fill in the gaps of a healthy diet.
Which vitamin do you start with?
I would recommend starting with the biggest gap you may have.
If you are having symptoms, that is your gap.
I’m here to help you navigate the jungle of vitamins.
Let me know if you want to take a health survey.
I can look at a health survey and know where to start.
If you are not having obvious symptoms, a multivitamin is a great way to start.
If you want to step it up a notch, add a green smoothie.
Top it off with a scoop of protein.
A multivitamin is a very general foundation.
It has a little of a variety of nutrition.
I was listening to a webinar that the speaker stated we need to eat 21 oranges to get the same nutrition as 1 orange that our grandparents ate.
So we are eating at least 15% less nutrients than our grandparents had.
Even if you are eating healthy, you are still lacking.
Adding a multivitamin bridges that gap.
Different age and sex requires different nutritional needs.
Teen support, kid support, 50+ women, pre-natal.
A good multivitamin contains some basics.
Vitamins A, C, D, E and K, as well as B vitamins
What are the benefits of taking a multivitamin?
Added Bone health
Added Muscle health
Added Immune support
Added Brain health
You may need more support, and a health survey allows me to assess what other support would be beneficial for you.
Over the next few weeks, I am going to spotlight individual vitamins. I will dive deeper into the specific vitamins.
If you are wondering what area of your health needs the support of vitamins for improvement, email or text SURVEY.
You can reach out by responding to this email or text us if you want more info on what supplements are best for you. Even better, ask me about it at your next visit if there is a certain supplement you have a question about.
Yours in Health Naturally,
Dr. Kelly
P.S. There is an app for FullScript. It makes picking out the best supplement easier.
